Trennery’s Country Club of the Wild Coast remains a favourite among holidaymakers. There are traditionally ethnic thatched bungalows, or chalets, which are snuggled into the idyllic tropical hillside landscape. The lodge-style central buildings house Pete’s Gallery with its famous horseshoe shaped bar, snooker room, darts area and spacious lounge.
The table d’hote menu features luscious seafood treats, tropical fruit, international and local cuisine as well as an excellent wine list. The weekly ‘seafood extravaganza’ should not be missed.
The recreational activities include fishing, tennis, boardsailing, canoeing, bowling, walking, and table tennis and there is an 11-hole golf course. A television with satellite in the lounge, and video and indoor games keep the family busy on rare rainy days.
The bedrooms are all en-suite, family rooms comprising two rooms with a bathroom. The rooms are comfortable and are kept clean all the time. There are no televisions or telephones in the rooms but these are available in the lounge.
