Activities:
Day trips can be undertaken in a radius of 100km towards the north to Springbok, Okiep and Concordia. Towards the east you can travel to Nourivier, Leliefontein and Tweerivier. Towards the top of the Kamies Mountains you will find the Kamiesberg Route, which is situated in the centre of the Succulent Biodiversity Hotspot. To the west you can reach the Atlantic Ocean and the towns of Hondeklip Bay, Koingnaas and Kleinzee. To the south you can travel to Garies, Groenrivier and Spoegrivier.
The famous Namaqualand National Park is situated 27km from Kamieskroon where 4×4 routes can be undertaken, such as the Caracal Route and along the west coast the popular Shipwreck Tour.
