There are so many things to see and stories to hear in Collinshoek. Liza and Marinda offer a number of options for visitors. They can take guests on a nature walk to the Big Tree, which is approximately 800 years old, sharing their knowledge on indigenous plants and their medicinal uses. You can go on a waterfall or river walk, looking out for local birds including the elusive Knysna Loerie.
A history walk is another option, where visitors can walk through town, see the church and graveyard that are approximately 145 yrs old, visit Oakhurst school that is approximately 120 yrs old and still in use, and hear all about the rich history of the church and school and the many stories about the local people.
Visitors can also see the netball and soccer games/facilities, the classes at school or go with Liza and Miranda to church. Visitors have the option of taking a picnic along made by the catering group.
