Gousblom B&B in Kamieskroon is situated on De Waal Street – a street named after a well-known South African judge. The B&B, whose name means ‘daisy’, has five en-suite rooms and a fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. Outdoor braai (barbeque) facilities, safe parking and satellite television are available.
With Gousblom as a base, visitors will find an almost endless variety of activities in the area – such as walking, bird-watching, 4×4’ing and photography. There are also shops and craft centres within walking distance of Gousblom B&B.
Gousblom B&B was originally intended to be Poppie’s retirement home, but as demand grew, she decided to offer the house as accommodation. These days Gousblom is in great demand as Poppie, who was born in Namaqualand, hosts her guests in true Namaqua style. A full English breakfast is provided and dinner is available on request.
