The Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre is a home for many of South Africa’s abandoned, injured and poisoned wildlife and a highly regarded contributor to wildlife education in our country. Situated in the shadow of the majestic Mariepskop this unique conservancy is home to amongst others, abandoned lions from an Egyptian circus, leopards, wild dogs, cheetahs, injured raptors, poisoned vultures, and many more animals.
The Centre at Moholoholo contributes to the conservation of endangered species and the rehabilitation of injured and poisoned wildlife. Moholoholo also facilitates a number of successful breeding programmes. A visit to the centre makes one conscious of the plight of wildlife in the modern world.
