Abel is an artist that lives in a village on the way from Inveran to Bochum (Senwabarwana). Abel sketches and does drawings in different mediums, like pastels, acrylic, pen, charcoal and pencil.
He sketches people (faces especially), natural settings, and sometimes uses pictures from magazines or photos. He can draw a person in about three hours and visitors can give him a photo of themselves if they would like him to sketch them.
Abel started drawing in primary school in 1996, but did not see a future in being an artist initially. He was however encouraged by his community to continue drawing and now is pursuing art as a career.
